S.S. and Geography

This week students took their SS benchmark test. They will take this same test again in May as a way to assess their progress over the year.

In geography we have been exploring the 5 themes of geography. Monday we will examine the last theme, movement. This will lead us into our study of early civilizations.

Many have been asking about the textbooks, and I can tell you that they are on their way. I am not exactly sure when they will arrive, but they are coming. This is not stopping or even slowing us down. My lessons so far have reflected chapter one in the text book, and Monday's lessons on movement come directly from chapter 2. When the books arrive, we will hid the road running.
