Nov.15-23

We have just completed our study of early Israel, the Phoenicians & Lydians and the people of Persia. Our test was today, 11/15, and if a student missed the test they must make it up by 11/22 or it will be a zero.

Next we head into a quick study of Asia's classical age. During this study we will look at the changes that the Aryan's brought into India and we will examine the influences of Buddhism (11/16-17)

Next we will analyze the effects of unification of the people from Maurya and Gupta empires (11/18) then we will study China's Great Dynasty's (11/21). This will be followed by a day of studying Confucianism and writing our own "Confucianisms" (11/22) and we will end the week with an examination of a telescoping timeline (11/23) and start our prepping for our test on 11/29.

As a reminder: The project due date is rapidly approaching. Students must have their projects turned in at the START of the school day 12/8. I will start to accept projects on 12/7. Research papers may be emailed to me provided I receive them by 8:15 AM on 12/8. My email address is: kbettenhausen@atmschool.net
